I love this quote because it’s true. Every successful person we admire and look up to has put in the hard work and gotten their hands dirty. They’ve stayed up later than most and worked when others were playing.
Today we got our hands “dirty” in a sense. We got up early in the morning, jumped in the car and drove two hours (one way) to visit a potential supplier. It’s far from the hardest work in the world, but it’s necessary. There are a million other things going on today and we could have easily made an excuse.

Quant Based Marketing
The very first step to creating our quant based marketing approach was to make a list of existing channels and groups that we can reach that have similar audiences as us. We aren’t looking to “take” from existing audiences. Rather, we are looking to reach out to them and see how we can add value to their audience. This is a key distinction when making connections. Building a connection is about what you can give. Most people are looking to take, so you will put yourself in the select minority by looking to give first.
Back to quant based marketing. We made a list of approximately 15 people and groups that we think can benefit from our information and that we can mutually benefit.
